Mohammed Bin Rashid Center for Leadership Development is a center launched by his Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum in 2003 offering development programs that are in line with the leadership requirements of today and tomorrow

The center will provide strong and diversified networking opportunities locally and globally. The Center provides its participants coaching hours with experts and Executive Coaches in Leadership to overcome challenges and manage change in their career

The center relies on the Mohammed Bin Rashid leadership framework that was developed based on global leadership competencies and learnings from His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid AL Maktoum

4. What kind of services does the Center provide for graduates?

To ensure the continuous development of the center’s graduates, the center provides services on the center’s electronic platform, which provide many leadership services and supporting programs after graduation to ensure permanent and continuous communication

5. What is the duration of the various leadership programs at the Center?

The Programs duration range from 9 months to 18 months depending on the specific program

6. What kind of services does the Center provide for graduates?

The Centre will provide a range of services that are both bespoke to the individual graduates in specific program and networking opportunities that are exceptional in their mode of delivery.

7. What are the languages used in the programs?

All the programs are conducted in English

8. What are the registration steps?

"First: Registration via the website (100 candidates will be selected to move to the second stage)Second: Evaluation Centers Interviews Third: Final personal interviews (selecting the 30 affiliates to start the program)"

The Center cooperates with a selection of the best universities and leading international centers in the field of leadership development

10. What kind of training can be expected as part of the program ?

We offer a rich variety of training, development, mentoring and coaching to help boost leadership abilities. Training is based on the 70/20/10 approach: 70% on-the-job training, 20% learning through mentoring, coaching and feedback, and 10% via formal training courses. A majority of the learning in the program will be linked to a current challenge each participant is facing in their day job.

1. What is the Mohammed bin Rashid Leaders Program all about?

The Mohammed bin Rashid Leaders Program aims to develop and enhance the leadership skills of ambitious Emirati leaders, qualifying them for leadership positions and enabling them to manage strategic and transformational projects in the country. The program is designed based on the latest methods for leadership development and according to the leadership framework of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, in alignment with the directions of the United Arab Emirates. Through various modules and activities, the program explores the best international practices and applied experiences to achieve its visions and lead to new horizons

A citizen of the UAE (including passport holders and children of female citizens) From all sectors (federal, local, semi-governmental, and private entities) More than 8 years of practical experience and 3-5 years of leadership experience Bachelor's degree A leadership or supervisory position “head of a department or above” or leading an effective initiative in the emirate Managing a team of two or more

He plays a key role in shaping strategic frameworks within his area of responsibility. He is accountable for delivering several key outcomes within this domain. Whether overseeing a crucial sector or leading a strategic initiative, he embodies a visionary approach, aiming to achieve strategic and future goals while effectively leading a successful team.

4. What is the time commitment that participants have to make in order to get the most value out of this leadership development experience?

In order for participants and their fellow learners to derive the greatest value from this experience, they will need to commit to attending all modules and completing all assignments. This will entail approximately 10 days of classroom training and 20 days of experiential/project-based training spread over a period of 9 months, with a break for Ramadan. A detailed timeline will be shared at the acceptance stage.

5. What is the implementation time plan for the Mohammed bin Rashid Leaders Program?

In order for participants and their counterparts to fully benefit from the program's activities and experiences, they must commit to attending all modules and completing all required tasks. These tasks include 30 days distributed throughout the program's schedule and incorporate one international trip. The detailed program schedule will be shared during the introductory workshop with accepted participants.

7. When does registration open for the Mohammed bin Rashid Leaders Program?

Registration for the Mohammed bin Rashid Leaders Program opens annually. Registration for the program is conducted through the website www.mbrcld.ae.

8. What does the application process involve?

The application process includes several stages, with a certain number of applicants being shortlisted at each stage until reaching the final one:

The first stage: Registration via the website, where applicants must create a leadership profile, apply to their desired program, and complete the joining requirements.

The second stage: Upon passing the first stage, applicants proceed to the assessment center, where they undergo eight principle tests and receive a report of the results.

The final stage: Following the second stage, selected participants are invited for personal interviews, providing candidates with the opportunity to secure their spots in the program.

9. How long does it take to complete the registration process?

We estimate that the form will take between 45 to 60 minutes to complete. The gamified assessment will take approximately 30 minutes.

11. I have a disability / long-term health condition, should I include this in my application form?

The Center welcomes all suitable candidates from various fields, and it is not a requirement for registration to provide such data. However, the Center recommends submitting this data in advance to facilitate the necessary support during any stage of the program application.

12. When will participants hear of the results of their application?

All candidates will be contacted via registered email.

13. Can I retake the online test?

We regret to inform you that we don't offer retakes. However, the applicants can still try to apply for the future batch.

14. Once successfully enrolled into the Mohammed bin Rashid Leaders Program, when will the program begin?

The closing date for registration is in Q2.
The program is expected to start in Q3.

15. If unsuccessful, can I apply again?

Yes, any candidate can retry to apply to the Mohammed bin Rashid Leaders Program in the coming year. It is also possible to apply to other programs as soon as they are launched.

16. What language will the program be executed in?

The program modules will be offered in English.

17. What is the program cost?

The Executive Office in Dubai covers the costs of the program.
This does not include costs of travel tickets and accommodation related to the international trip.

18. Does the participant need a sabbatical from the employer?

The participant is not required to take a sabbatical leave. However, there will be a period of full training days that the participant needs to commit to attending.
